We only get a brief time to enjoy this planet and the life we have been given, with much of it passing by way too fast with furthering our careers and taking care of family responsibilities. That’s why you should grab life by the horns and experience some crazy activities that get the adrenaline pumping and provide you with amazing memories for the rest of your life. Step out of your comfort zone and the mundane 9-5 grind of work with some of these exciting adventures:
Scuba Diving
Immerse yourself into a completely different world by going underwater to see all the incredible and mostly unseen aquatic creatures of the deep. Swim around coral reefs, ancient shipwrecks and get up close with some of the most wonderful sea creatures. This will take some dedication as you will need to become certified before heading out on a proper dive. Alternatively, try a tourist excursion while you’re on holiday. You won’t be able to go deep but you might still enjoy the sights on offer closer to shore.
Visit a Zip Line Adventure Park
Never been zip lining? Well, now is the perfect time to organise a trip for the family or friends as this is a whole heap of fun and not something you get to do very often. Flying along, high above ground, you’ll be safely attached to a harness as you zip through the air at high speed. The longest zipline in Europe and the fastest in the world can be found in Penrhyn Slate Quarry in North Wales. The scenery alone is well worth a visit.
Tank Driving Experience
What could be more satisfying than getting behind the wheel of a real-life tank? Young or old, male or female, you can become a tank commander for a day and even engage in a battle of tank paintball! Now, there aren’t many people who can say they spent the weekend driving a tank. For a Tank Driving Experience, you’ll never forget, visit Armourgeddon.
Bungee Jumping
If you’re determined to complete a bucket list of extreme activities, then bungee jumping must be on it. There are some amazing bungee jumping experiences around the country from super-high locations with spectacular views across beautiful countryside or cityscapes. Always be sure to book through a recognised and approved bungee jumping provider. Do your research to make sure the location is safe, and that bungee jumping isn’t actually illegal where you are.
Skydiving
This is another activity that takes a bit of bottle to complete. Flying is the first hurdle, then from an aircraft or helicopter you must launch yourself into the open air from around 4,000 metres high! Incredibly, the descent only lasts for between 40 seconds and a minute but imagine the adrenaline rush, feeling of achievement and jaw-dropping views.
